Megan Crossman

Interesting Fact:
I recently dislocated my elbow and tore both ligaments after falling through a hole, requiring surgery and leaving me with some permanent loss of movement. I suppose I can now relate to my patients on a whole new level!

About Me:
I grew up in Port Elizabeth and have always had a passion for sport, movement and the medical field. I chose to study Biokinetics because I loved the idea of turning something I am passionate about into a career that helps people. I believe movement, healthy habits and sport play a huge role in both physical and mental well-being, and I love helping people regain their confidence, independence and quality of life through exercise.

Qualifications

  • Graduated with a degree in Biokinetics from Nelson Mandela University
  • Completed a two-year professional internship in rehabilitation and sports performance
  • Experience working with individuals with physical, neurological and cognitive disabilities
  • Experience in both land-based rehabilitation and hydrotherapy

You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.
